This guide will help you with the installation the software needed to start playing.
Discord (used for voice communication, Texting, and general social hub)

Once the software is installed and user account created you can configure discord by click the gear icon next to your name on the bottom left side of the Program. Look for the Section called “Audio&Video” and configure “push to talk”. This will keep your mic muted until you press the Key to turn your mic on.

Once connected you will enter with limited roles. Please identify your self to the Town Guard in “start-here” channel with your name and D&D session time. If you need Tech Help please arrive early and request help from “Judge Logmaor”.
Fantasy Grounds
The Virtual Tabletop is Fantasy Grounds. We are ending the use of version 3 or “classic” version. We are using version 4 called Fantasy Grounds Unity. Please, download the software. The link is here: https://www.fantasygrounds.com/home/FantasyGroundsUnity.php
Install the software. In the process you will need to make a Smiteworks user account and verify that account via email used. Once verified you can continue with the installation. when the software asks for a license key please press “continue” leaving the license key field blank. Press the update button and allow it to install. Once that is complete press “launch fantasy grounds” button and lastly press the “join campaign”. At this point you will need to go into discord chatroom and find the IP address of the Dungeon Master. A premade character will be available to choose from.

you can also adjust these in the Sound app in Apple System Preferences or in Control panel sound app for the Windows Machine.

Notes:
- Linux and Chromebooks are not supported.
- We are not using Fantasy Grounds Classic version 3
